Red Army Faction

The Red Army Faction (Rote Armee Fraktion— RAF) was a left-wing terrorist group in Germany which carried out a series of high profile kidnappings and murders from the 1970s until 1998. The RAF, also known as the Baader-Meinhof Group, sought to bring about the collapse of the “imperialist” German system and supplant it with governance based on Marxism.
